The Pax Group is an engineering company that has been granted exclusive global rights to air movement technologies developed by PAX Scientific, Inc., of San Rafael, California. The company addresses the fan and fan-using equipment sectors with patented fan technologies that significantly reduce noise and energy use while improving airflow. We achieve this by applying principles derived from natural flow forms found in nature to the science of air movement in order to create quiet, energy efficient fluid moving technologies. These benefits occur because PAX fans reduce the amount of turbulence in the air before and after contact with the fan. The geometrically curved blades generate a powerful vortex on their downstream sides, accelerating air towards the center (centripetally) with markedly reduced turbulence. PAX fans also "entrain" the air coming into the fan, creating a vortical flow in advance, decreasing threshold turbulence.

The Pax Group licenses its technologies from PAX Scientific, a California-based research and development corporation focused on proprietary technologies involving but not limited to fluid dynamics, convection, flow forms, propulsion, and thermodynamics. The firm is focused on applying geometries found in nature with primary focus on vortical flows and deterministic chaos theory. PAX Scientific's core technology and patents involve the adaptation of the characteristics of certain types of vortical flows to industrial processes. Industrial processes create friction at all levels of production, which creates heat, cavitation, loss of energy, and waste. PAX Scientific creates new geometries for fans, pumps, impellers, turbines, tubing, ducts, and hundreds of other industrial tools and processes. These designs provide significant improvements in output as well as reduction of noise, cavitation, and shear stresses in fluid- and heat-handling applications. PAX Scientific, Inc. holds and has filed many U.S. and international patents on its inventions.
